The annual Academic Honors Banquet and Chancellor’s Honors Banquet celebrate individuals who excel in research and creative work, impact campus culture, and demonstrate outstanding leadership and service.
The Volunteer Spirit Award is the highest honor available to a UT staff member.
The designation recognizes UT’s commitment to supporting working parents through family-friendly policies and practices.
The award celebrates organizations in Tennessee that excel in recruiting, hiring and retaining service members, military veterans and their families.
Forbes’ America’s Dream Employers list includes a diverse array of employment sectors including health care, government and higher education.
In addition to generous health and retirement plans, the university offers employee tuition waivers and discounted tuition for qualifying employees.
This marks the fourth year in a row UT has earned the distinction as a best employer for new graduates.
The award is presented by Forbes and market research company Statista through an independent survey of approximately 170,000 U.S. employees in companies with at least 5,000 people working within the U.S. More than 3.5 million employer evaluations were considered.
This is the second straight year the university has earned Great Place To Work certification.
