David Eichenthal, co-author of The Art of the Watchdog: Fighting Fraud, Waste, Abuse and Corruption in Government, will discuss the importance of watchdogs and government oversight in a March 27 lecture. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the Baker Center’s Toyota Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
Next week marks the beginning of UT’s eighth annual Earth Month. “This year’s event will feature numerous student and community organizations coming together to increase awareness of what we are doing to make the campus and Knoxville a more sustainable place to live, work, and play,” said UT Sustainability Manager Preston Jacobsen.
A team of students from UT’s College of Business Administration took high honors in the Deloitte Inaugural Supply Chain Challenge, coming in at second place. Members of the UT Master of Business Administration team were Daniel Conrad, Sarah Womack, Rachel Hylton, and Whit Shofner.
