Ten students at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, have been selected to receive the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study or intern in global programs (abroad and virtual) in upcoming terms.
“Our goal in all our programs is to offer a warm welcome and let the students know we care about them,” says Gretchen Neisler, vice provost for international affairs and director of the Center for Global Engagement.
The Academy for Global Scholars, a program that provides first-year students with a unique opportunity for global engagement and individual growth, has welcomed 23 students into its inaugural class.
