The Boyd Venture Fund, administered by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Business Administration, is soliciting applications from student companies for its inaugural seed-funding grants.
A team of four University of Tennessee, Knoxville, undergraduate students recently won the Third Annual IANA Logistics & Supply Chain Management Case Competition at the University of North Florida. This was the second time UT Knoxville participated in the competition.
Several new burgeoning businesses got a kickstart this spring thanks to the Fourth Annual Business Plan Competition. Thirty-four teams competed for $20,000 in prize money and $5,000 in donated services in the competition sponsored by the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the College of Business Administration at UT Knoxville.
