The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees heard positive news about its progress toward strategic goals and ratified a purchase of a new residence hall, among other action at the fall board meeting held Friday in Knoxville.
The Cultural Attractions Committee presents The Ahn Trio in concert, 7:30 pm tonight, Nov. 12, in the Cox Auditorium of the Alumni Memorial Building. Tickets for this performance are $5 for UT students with ID; $15 for UT faculty and staff; and $20 for the general public.
Richard Tucker, director of research and analysis for Northwestern University’s Graduate School, has been named assistant vice provost and director of the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) at UT. Tucker will report to Provost Robert Holub and will lead efforts to collect, analyze and disseminate essential information about the university’s environment and performance.
Architecture professor Brian Ambroziak will lecture at 5:30 p.m. Mon, Nov. 12, in the McCarty Auditorium, Room 109, of the Art + Architecture Building. Free and open to the public, this lecture is part of the Robert B. Church III Memorial Lecture Series organized each semester by the College of Architecture and Design.
