The Ahn Trio

The Cultural Attractions Committee presents The Ahn Trio in concert, 7:30 pm tonight, Nov. 12, in the Cox Auditorium of the Alumni Memorial Building.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, the three Julliard-educated sisters of the Ahn Trio are redefining the art and architecture of chamber music and breathing new life into the standard piano-trio literature with commissions from new composers. While performing on piano, violin, and cello, the sisters thrive on dispelling barriers between art forms and have fused their work with that of dancers, singers, DJs, painters, and more.

The Ahns have been featured in numerous publications, including being named to People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People list for the impact they are having on the concert and chamber music world.

Tickets for this performance are $5 for UT students with ID; $15 for UT faculty and staff; and $20 for the general public.
