Entrepreneurial Journalism Students Challenge Extremism
Students in an entrepreneurial journalism course this fall participated in an international competition to create a social media campaign and strategy to instruct young journalists on how to responsibly report instances of extremism. Four UT Students Receive Council on International Educational Exchange Grants

Recent Grad Miranda Gottlieb Named a Schwarzman Scholar
Miranda Gottlieb, who graduated from UT last spring, has been named to the second class of Schwarzman Scholars, a highly competitive program that offers selected students the opportunity to earn a master’s degree in China. She is the first UT student to be selected for the program, which launched in 2015.
