Eight seniors and one recent graduate have been named Torchbearers, UT’s highest undergraduate student honor.
The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will welcome fans to the final home football game of the season Saturday, Nov. 29, against in-state rival Vanderbilt University. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EST inside Neyland Stadium.
Smokey XI will step away from mascot responsibilities and enjoy a quiet, peaceful retirement with his pack — his brother, his dad Smokey X and the Hudson family.
UT will round out Homecoming week Saturday, Nov. 15, welcoming fans to campus for its football game against New Mexico State University. With Veterans Day earlier in the week, the matchup is also designated as the university’s annual Salute to Service game.
UT will commemorate Veterans Day with a variety of events to celebrate those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, as UT takes on the University of Oklahoma. The Volunteers will wear their Dark Mode uniforms for the matchup, with pregame and halftime light shows illuminating Neyland Stadium.
UT will welcome fans to campus Saturday, Oct. 11, for the football game against the University of Arkansas. The weekend is designated Champions Weekend, presented by Pilot, to honor the university’s championship-winning teams and individuals and the newest Tennessee Athletics Hall of Fame inductees.

Game day returns to campus on Saturday, Sept. 13, as the Volunteers face off against the University of Georgia. This weekend’s matchup is the annual Checker Neyland game, presented by Pilot, and fans are encouraged to wear orange or white. ESPN’s “College GameDay” will also broadcast live from the Ayres Hall lawn.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, as the Vols take on East Tennessee State University in their first home football game of the season. The game will be a digital-only broadcast on ESPN+/SEC Network+.
