“I am so proud of the regional and national recognition UT has earned in the past years by Forbes,” said Mary Lucal, associate vice chancellor for human resources. “Our competitive benefits, emphasis on flexibility, and commitment to principles of diversity and inclusion make us a great work home for recent grads, and we are thrilled that so many have made the conscious decision to work at UT Knoxville!”

Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research company, to produce its annual list. Data was collected by surveying 20,000 Americans with less than 10 years professional experience working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees.

Forbes has also recognized the university as one of America’s best employers and one of Tennessee’s best employers.
