The Office of Sustainability will celebrate the last UT Earth Month 2018 event with Facilities Services during a ceremonial tree planting for National Arbor Day.
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the event that will take place from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, April 27, at the Engineering Quad.
UT Arborist Sam Adams will be joined by the Tennessee Division of Forestry, and Dave Irvin, associate vice chancellor of Facilities Services, to discuss the importance of trees on our campus and to announce a new development for the UT tree campus project.
The Arboricultural Services subunit of Facilities Services was formed in 2015 to provide tree care and maintenance services to the entire UT campus.
