Volunteering with the Vols is going on the road this fall football season with alumni, current students, and prospective students participating in community service activities in away-game cities. The effort kicked off this past Saturday–prior to the Vols double-overtime victory over Georgia Tech in Atlanta–when members of the Volunteer family gathered for a work day at Hawk Hollow Garden in Decatur, Georgia.
Volunteering with the Vols allows participants to connect while exercising their Volunteer spirit to lend a hand to worthwhile causes around the country. The project is a joint effort of Undergraduate Admissions, Athletics, the Center for Leadership and Service, and the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs.
