The UT Police Department’s Tip411 anonymous text messaging system will be discontinued this weekend due to a change in the university’s vendor agreements.
An application-based service for anonymous tips will be introduced to the campus community in time for fall semester, which begins Aug. 19.
Campus community members can report a crime by calling 911 or by contacting UTPD directly at 865-974-3111.
