UT Officials Warn of Counterfeit Football Tickets
Saturday’s football game between the Vols and the Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama is sold out, which means that fans who purchase tickets from individuals in the area near campus face the risk of counterfeit tickets. The UT Police Department and UT Athletics advise fans to purchase tickets only from trusted sources.
Information for Faculty and Staff about Concealed Handgun Law
This spring the General Assembly passed Public Chapter 1061. The law, which takes effect on July 1, allows generally all UT full-time employees with a valid handgun permit to carry a concealed handgun on UT property. The university has adopted a new safety policy concerning firearms and has posted a list of commonly asked questions.
