March’s Make Orange Green desktop wallpaper focuses on stormwater.

Are you tired of using the stock wallpapers that come standard with your computer or smartphone? Do you want a wallpaper and calendar rolled into one? The Office of Sustainability has what you need. Each month in 2015, Make Orange Green will roll out a set of themed desktop and smartphone wallpapers for you to download and enjoy.

To download this month’s wallpaper set or browse sets from previous months, visit the Office of Sustainability website.

For the desktop background: Once downloaded, open the .zip file and find the image that fits your desktop size. On a Mac, right click on the image and select “Set Desktop Picture.” On a PC, go to your Control Panel and navigate to the desktop background settings to personalize your background.

For the phone background from your smartphone: Save the image to your smartphone’s image gallery, then open the image and select “set as home/lock screen.” Adjust size as necessary for maximum awesomeness.

For the phone background from your computer: Download the image file to your desktop. E-mail or use a file transfer application (such as Bluetooth or Dropbox) to transfer the image to your smartphone. Then follow the steps above to set the image as the home screen.

New wallpaper sets will be available at the start of each month. This month’s theme is recycling. February is when UT competes against other schools in Recyclemania, a month-long recycling competition to see which campus can recycle, compost, and reduce the most waste. You can get involved by following the five “R’s” of waste reduction:

  • Refuse what you do not need
  • Reduce what you do need
  • Reuse what you consume
  • Recycle what you cannot refuse, reduce, or reuse
  • Rot (compost) the rest
