Four recent UT construction and renovation projects have been nominated for 2014 People’s Choice Awards by the American Institute of Architects, East Tennessee Chapter.
The AIA chapter is encouraging people to go online to vote for their favorite. Votes are being tallied through 6:00 p.m. October 28. Vote online.
Members of the AIA East Tennessee chapter designed all twenty-five nominated projects. Alumni of the UT College of Architecture and Design were involved in all but one of the projects.
The UT projects are the Natalie L. Haslam Music Center, the One Stop Express Student Services Center in Hodges Library, the Min H. Kao Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Building, and Pat Summitt Plaza.
This year marks the first time this year’s AIA East Tennessee People’s Choice Award is being chosen entirely through online votes. The chapter will gather on the evening of October 28 to present its annual awards.
