Engineering Department Receives Donation from Denso North American Foundation

The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering’s rolling hybrid vehicle laboratory has received a boost. Denso North American Foundation has donated $50,000 to the lab. The hybrid vehicle laboratory helps faculty prepare students for high-tech jobs in the industry with hands-on design experience. Matthew Mench, department head, said as a local employer and international leader in advanced automotive technology, Denso’s continual support of the department’s programs are critical for their success.
