Thirty high school seniors from Tennessee, Texas and North Carolina will be on campus this weekend to interview to be part of the 2012-2013 class of Haslam Scholars, the premier scholarship program offered by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
A series of talks on race and heredity, sponsored by the UT Humanities Initiative, will be held on Friday, March 16, in the Mary Greer Room of Hodges Library next to Starbucks on the second floor. Refreshments will be available, and the event is free and open to the public.
