WVLT-TV interviewed Jeremy Smith, Governor’s Chair in molecular biophysics, about the advancement in research thanks to supercomputing power. Smith uses Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Jaguar, currently the third fastest supercomputer in the world but it’s being overhauled to be even faster.
