Traffic ConesKNOXVILLE — A section of Estabrook Road alongside the Min H. Kao Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Building will be closed for repaving starting Saturday, November 12.

A checkpoint will be placed at the intersection of Lower Drive and Middle Drive. Only service vehicles or vehicles transporting handicapped persons to Perkins Hall will be allowed to pass the checkpoint and continue down Lower Drive toward Estabrook Road.

A roadblock will be placed at the intersection of Tee Martin Drive and Estabrook Road. No traffic will be allowed to pass through the intersection. All vehicles entering Middle Way Drive must continue along Middle Way Drive to exit the Hill area.

The repaving work is set to begin at 6:00 a.m., November 12, and end by the evening of November 16. Estabrook Road will remain closed until the work is completed. The work is proceeding at this time in order to avoid complications due to cold weather.

Employees who normally park along that section of Estabrook Road will be able to park in the 11th Street garage.
