UT’s Baker Center to Host Discussion on ‘Understanding the Recession’

A panel of business and legal experts from UT Knoxville will discuss the current economic crisis at a program on March 24. Free and open to the public, the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Toyota Auditorium at the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy.

UT Leads Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Great Smoky Mountains for 60th Year

Every spring for the past 59 years, hundreds of nature lovers from all over the world have descended upon the Great Smoky Mountains as part of the Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage. The event, which began with botanists from UT Knoxville, now involves as many as 1,000 participants.
