Prominent East Tennessee businessman Will Pugh recently was honored with the naming of the Will J. Pugh Classroom in the College of Business Administration’s new James A. Haslam II Business Building. Pugh founded Pugh & Co. P.C., one of the area’s largest and most successful accounting firms, in 1969.
The hotel, restaurant and tourism management program at UT Knoxville has published a cookbook with a variety of dishes cooked for many years by families from Tennessee and countries such as Germany, Haiti, India and China. The Multicultural Cookbook has a range of recipes from potato candy and bean bread to meatloaf and pav bhaji.
UT Knoxville has named three faculty members as the latest group of James R. Cox University Professors. The group includes Angela Batey, associate professor of music; Louis J. Gross, professor of mathematics and ecology and evolutionary biology; and Donald Hodges, professor of forestry, wildlife and fisheries.
