Monday, January 21, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and UT will mark the national holiday with a series of events including films, speeches, discussions, interpretive dance and visual displays.
Graduates of Tennessee colleges and universities who earned degrees in education or health-related fields are among the most likely to stay in Tennessee to work. This is among many findings in the third installment of a multi-part project called “School-to-Work: Do Tennessee’s Higher Education Graduates Work in Tennessee?” released today.
UT employees and their families turned out in great numbers last night to get a "sneak peek" at the new Pratt Pavilion basketball practice facility. More than 300 people came to tour the $15 million facility, which houses two full-sized gymnasiums, and rooms dedicated to weight training and film study.
