The University of Tennessee Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Smoky Mountain Astronomical Society will sponsor a special viewing of the Leonid Meteor Watch at 9 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 17, in the Visitor’s Center Parking Lot of the Bandy Creek Campground of the Big South Fork.

Dr. Bill Madia, director of Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will speak at the University of Tennessee’s fall commencement Dec. 16.
