VOLbreaks, the university’s alternative break program, allows its participants to serve communities and gain new perspectives on the world beyond campus.
VOLbreaks celebrated its anniversary with a trip to Memphis, bringing incoming students, current students and alumni together to serve the community.
For nearly 30 years, the VOLbreaks program has provided an opportunity for students to become more active citizens by gaining experience through organized trips.
Providing support to nonprofit organizations serving immigrants and refugees. Learning about the cycle of poverty in rural communities. Assisting in-home building projects. These are just a few of the ways some UT students will be spending their fall break.
