Six businesses by eight students were awarded a total of $20,000 in funding. The competition split the funding into two categories based on the startups’ scalability.
Seven student start-ups were awarded cash prizes in the fall 2021 Graves Business Plan Competition. The Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the UT’s Haslam College of Business hosted the business plan and pitch contest.
Open to UT students in any field of study, the Graves Business Plan Competition offers student entrepreneurs the opportunity to win start-up funds for original business ideas.
