The Center for Health Education and Wellness (CHEW), in partnership with the Office of Title IX, is hosting a variety of events during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in April to raise awareness, increase knowledge and provide multiple opportunities for campus community members to engage in dialogue throughout the month.
“Getting the UT community involved in sexual assault awareness and prevention is critical to promote and sustain change,” said Kayley McMahan, interpersonal wellness and sexual health coordinator for the center. “This is the first large-scale SAAM initiative UT has offered since 2019, so we really want to see the community support and engage in events like Vols Walk for SAAM.”
