Power has been restored to campus buildings with the exception of Laurel Hall. Work will continue on Laurel Hall.

A construction-related electrical outage has impacted numerous buildings on campus. Facilities Services is evaluating the extent and cause, and working to bring buildings back on line as quickly as possible. Some facilities are starting to be restored.
Currently, Subway and Twisted Taco in Fred Brown Residence Hall are closed due to the power outage. PCB is closed but will open no later than 12:30 p.m. Restaurants in the Student Union, as well as Stokely Hall, Southern Kitchen in Vol Hall and the Panda Express and Raisin’ Canes on Cumberland Avenue are open for lunch. We will keep the campus up to date on the situation and let everyone know of any other changes that may impact campus operations.
Faculty should use discretion as to whether to hold classes based on environmental factors such as temperature, available light and resources in their classrooms.
