Nearly 4,000 students moved in to their new home sweet home on Rocky Top on Saturday. While many new and returning Vols moved into on-campus housing last week, Saturday was the big day for the majority of this year’s freshmen, the Class of 2023.
About 7,700 students are living on campus this semester.
Volunteers from campus and community organizations helped things run smoothly, and even Chancellor Plowman lent a hand.
