Portions of the east end of Volunteer Boulevard will be blocked next week as part of the Volunteer Boulevard streetscape project.
From Monday, July 9, to Wednesday, July 11, the section of Volunteer Boulevard from Dunford Hall to Melrose Avenue will be closed to all traffic. Melrose Avenue between Hodges Library and Tyson Alumni Center also will be closed. Vehicles will be able to access Staff Lot 12 at Dunford Hall from Cumberland Avenue.
From Thursday, July 12, to Sunday, July 15, Volunteer Boulevard will be closed from Cumberland Avenue to Henson Hall. The closed section of Melrose Avenue will reopen to allow vehicle access to Staff Lot 12 at Dunford Hall. The section of Volunteer Boulevard from Hodges Library to the Claxton Education Building will remain closed.
