The Public Speaking Center, located in Room 262 of the Communications Building, is available to help students, faculty, and staff with all facets of public speaking and presentations.

The center can assist with speech anxiety, topic generation, organization, and delivery tips. Stop by to discuss your speech, practice and receive feedback, or just talk about ways to feel more comfortable while presenting. The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and walk-ins are welcome. You can also make an appointment via email. The center is staffed by director Suzy Prentiss, trained peer consultants, and Communication Studies 210 and 240 lecturers. Just follow the orange footprints once you get to the building, and the center staff will help you find your footing in public speaking.
