Fabrizio D’Aloisio will join the Division of Enrollment Management as the assistant vice provost for enrollment management and director for undergraduate admissions on June 5.

D’Aloisio is currently the executive director of higher education services at the College Board, a nonprofit organization that develops and administers standardized measures and curricula for K–12 and post-secondary schools to promote college-readiness and assist with the college transition process. The College Board administers the SAT test and the Advanced Placement program among other college-readiness programs.

In his new role at UT, D’Aloisio will lead the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in the planning and execution of a comprehensive admissions and recruitment program. He will work closely with internal and external partners to create recruitment strategies that define, capture, and promote the Volunteer experience.

“Fabrizio brings with him a breadth of higher education experience having most recently worked at the College Board,” said Kari Alldredge, vice provost for enrollment management. “However, he started his career in a variety of undergraduate admissions positions focused on freshman and transfer recruitment.

“He values the importance of building great relationships through our work in recruiting and serving students while also using a data-focused approach to reach goals. Fabrizio has significant experience using technology improvements to increase service and improve the student experience—valuable skills for our team as we build upon the incredible work and momentum happening in admissions,” Alldredge said.

D’Aloisio and his wife, Michelle, have two sons, Adrian and Lucas.

The search committee was chaired by Melissa Shivers, associate vice chancellor for student life and dean of students.
