WBIR’s Robin Wilhoit sat down with Chancellor Beverly Davenport to see how she’s settling into her role.
Wilhoit discussed a variety of topics with Chancellor Davenport including the Guinness World Record, potential for outsourcing services, and combating sexual assault, among other topics.
“I feel a great honor, I feel a responsibility,” said Davenport. “There is something special here about that great sense of pride in this institution and its traditions and I love that, and I feel it, and I think thats what carries me and carries all of us every day.”
Chancellor Davenport said that she wants to share with the entire world what sets UT apart. She seeks to lead the state’s flagship university on the journey to a top 25 institution.
“The best is yet to come,” said Davenport.
