The Knoxville News Sentinel highlighted UT’s third Arab Fest, which aims to expose event goers to the vibrant culture of the Middle East, a region often in the headlines only for tragedy. The event also gave participants an opportunity to meet UT archaeology students who go on annual trips to Jordan for excavations of a fourth century Roman fort. The trip is led by UT professors Erin and Robert Darby.
