Vladimir_DinetsSmithsonian Magazine recently interviewed Vladimir Dinets, assistant research professor of psychology and an animal behaviorist, for a story about new threats to crocodiles, animals that have long been considered indestructible. Chief among the threats are humans who are increasingly moving into crocodile territory.

“If crocodiles and alligators are not hunted and killed, they are really, really good at adapting to modified environments,” Dinets told the publication. “Humans are not good at adapting side by side with them.” Read the story online.
