Supply and Demand Chain Executive featured a recent survey by the Global Supply Chain Institute at UT. In an article suggesting companies need to gain visibility into the complex supply chain network to collectively sense and properly respond to changes in supply and demand, one piece of advice was to eliminate silos within your organization to take full advantage of end-to-end visibility. However, the survey conducted by UT reported that some silos still exist in organizations.
