The Knoxville Alumni Chapter has partnered with UT Athletics to host a Tip Off BBQ Fundraiser prior to the men’s basketball game against Kentucky at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, in the Tennessee Terrace. Attendees will enjoy a barbecue dinner with other fans and hear from former NBA and UT player Steve Hamer and women’s basketball Head Coach Holly Warlick.
Faculty, staff, alumni, and friends are invited to attend. Cost is $30 per person; proceeds from the event will go to support scholarships and the alumni chapter.
After attendees register, options are available to purchase alumni block tickets to the game for $25.
The chapter is also hosting an online auction, where proceeds benefit the Knoxville Alumni Chapter Scholarship. The auction offers an array of sports memorabilia, tailgating packages, and event tickets. The auction closes on February 2 prior to the start of the barbecue dinner.
