Knoxville Homeless Management Information System
KnoxHMIS serves as an empirical window into homelessness in Knox County. The only university-based homeless management information system in the country, KnoxHMIS allows for aggregation of client-level data across providers serving the area’s homeless. Reports produced from KnoxHMIS are used to inform local and federal decision-making, including data that suggest that Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing programs have been successful in preventing homelessness for at-risk individuals and families.
