Jenny Richter has been named associate vice chancellor and director of the Office of Equity and Diversity, effective June 1.
Richter has served as interim director following the death last year of former director Marva Rudolph.
Richter has more than twenty years of experience in assuring the university’s compliance with state and federal mandates related to faculty, staff, students, and visitors to campus.
“Jenny’s extensive knowledge, skills, and local and national relationships will assist her in leading the Office of Equity and Diversity and serving as associate vice chancellor,” said Vice Chancellor for Diversity Rickey Hall. “She is passionate about creating a campus community that is accessible, welcoming, and inclusive of all.”
