A group of six students have written a detailed comment to the proposed Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan which is open for public comment. An article by two of the students, Justin Knowles and Remy DeVoe, is featured on the American Nuclear Society website. The students’ comment discusses the plan’s inconsistencies and the corresponding implications. The students are earning doctorates in energy science and engineering through the Bredesen Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Education. Their research focuses on topics ranging from hydroelectricity to advanced nuclear power to fusion energy.
