The East Tennessee Section of the American Chemical Society presents their annual, “Magic of Chemistry” show, at UT, featuring chemistry lecturer Al Hazari.
The event is 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21. This event is free and open to the public.
It will be in Room 555 of Dabney-Buehler Hall. Free parking is available at the eleventh Street parking garage.
In celebration of National Chemistry Week October 19 to 25, American Chemical Society members will present the positive aspects of chemistry, promote science education, and heighten public awareness about the contributions chemistry has made to society and to everyday life.
Hazari will show the “sweet side of chemistry,” performing activities related to the chemistry of candy as well as his signature tricks. For more information about National Chemistry Week, visit this website.
