voteTuesday, September 23, is National Voter Registration Day and the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy and other UT organizations will be offering voter registration at several booths on campus.

The Baker ambassadors and Baker Center Living and Learning Community will host a table in John C. Hodges Library, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., where students can register to vote, get absentee ballot information, and find their polling locations.

Working with the Knoxville League of Women Voters, the UT Government Affairs Committee, College Democrats, College of Republicans, and Progressive Student Alliance will man booths at the University Center, Presidential Court, and Pedestrian Walkway.

Students unable to register at a booth today visit the Baker Center from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday through October 3. Registration forms and drop boxes will be available in the rotunda.

The last day to register in Tennessee for the November 4, 2014, election is Monday, October 6. Early voting will be from October 15-30 at various Knox County locations, which can be found online.
