A section of Phillip Fulmer Way from Middle Drive to Peyton Manning Pass will be closed all day Sunday, July 27, to remove asphalt in preparation for repaving.

Vehicles will not be able to access Middle Drive from Phillip Fulmer Way that day. Local traffic will be able to access Middle Drive via Tee Martin Drive around Neyland Stadium to Lower Drive, but no commercial vehicles will be allowed. UT police officers will be on hand to assist with traffic control.

Regular T bus service does not run during the summer, so the road closing will not impact campus transit.

The road will reopen Sunday evening to two-way traffic.

On Wednesday, July 30, the same section of Phillip Fulmer Way will close at 1:00 p.m. for new paving, and will reopen to two-way traffic that evening. All deliveries in the immediate area will need to be coordinated prior to the closure. During the closure, local traffic will again access Middle Drive via Tee Martin Drive around Neyland Stadium to Lower Drive.

For more information on the closure, call 865-974-3061. Visit the Cone Zone for a map of campus construction projects.
