UT Drive will close Thursday afternoon, July 24, and will reopen early Monday, July 28.
The road, which connects Andy Holt Avenue and Volunteer Boulevard on the west side of campus, is closing to accommodate the annual Greater Knoxville Area Interclub Swimming Association competition taking place July 25 through 27 in the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
During the closure, Facilities Services and Transportation Services vehicles will have access to UT Drive and the Transportation Services fleet-service fuel pumps from Volunteer Boulevard. Employees needing to pick up or return vehicles to the Transportation Services motor pool also will have access from Volunteer Boulevard.
