The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Ready for the World Café kicks off another season with a journey to Italy on Thursday, March 6.
The luncheons will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through May 1 in the UT Visitors Center on Neyland Drive.
The café is a full-service international dining experience. Lunch consists of intermezzo or small appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert.

The first luncheon will feature Italian fare. The menu is as follows:
First course: Traditional Italian antipasto with cured meats and cheeses from Italy
Second course: Pasta alla puttanesca (a pasta dish with a tangy tomato sauce) with Pecorino Romano (milk cheese)
Third course: Zuppa di pesce (fish soup)
Dessert: Crostata (baked tart)
Bread: Focaccia

- March 25 – Italy II
- March 27 – France I
- April 1 – France II
- April 3 – France III
- April 17 – Japan (sushi)
- April 22 – Thailand
- April 24 – Spain I
- April 29 – Spain II
- May 1 – France and Japan fusion
The luncheons are produced through a collaboration of HRT 445 (the Advanced Food Production and Service Management class), the UT Culinary Institute, and the Pellissippi Culinary Institute.
