UT faculty who have National Institutes of Health eRA Commons access may be affected by a new log-in process implemented by the agency.

Those who established their eRA Commons account before October 8, 2011, have until February 22, 2012, to change their password. The Office of Research encourages faculty members to change their passwords before February 22 to avoid delays in using the NIH interface beyond that date. Updating this information will ensure that faculty maintain access to any current submissions in progress.

Faculty who opened an eRA Commons account after October 8, 2011—or who have changed their password since that date—do not need to take any action.
