Nate Sanders, associate professor of ecology and evolutionary biology, was interviewed by the Knoxville News Sentinel for his contributions to the development of a network of observatories that is being funded through National Science Foundation grants called the National Ecological Observatory Network, or NEON. Through the network, UT Knoxville along with Oak Ridge National Lab will collect data across the country to study the impacts of global changes, including climate change, on the environment. All the information will be made available to the public.
