The second meeting of the Knoxville Economics Forum, organized by the Department of Economics, was featured by a number of media outlets, including Bloomberg News. The local organization is dedicated to an ongoing public discussion of such business and economic issues as they relate to East Tennessee. The meeting was held Friday morning, April 8 at Club LeConte in downtown Knoxville. Dennis Lockhart, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, was the forum’s guest speaker.
