KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, School of Music will host the Spring Sensation 2011 to benefit student scholarships on April 16.

The evening of music, fine dining and auctions begins at 6 p.m. at the Knoxville Downtown Hilton. There are two optional ticket levels: Patron tickets are $150, and impresario tickets are $200.

Guests will enjoy entertainment featuring the Boling, Brown & Holloway Trio, the UT Clarinet Choir, rising stars from the UT Opera Theatre, a student string quartet, and student pianist William Crowe, recipient of the prestigious Kline Scholarship, awarded by the School of Music to a truly outstanding artist/scholar.

A cocktail reception will feature complimentary wine and a cash bar. The event will include both a silent auction and a live auction. Auction items include performances by School of Music artists, vacation accommodations, golf, home décor and more.
