The University of Tennessee Purchasing Office has announced new contracts and discounts for equipment rental and office supplies.
A contract has been awarded to All Occasions Rentals for event rental equipment. The contract establishes firm prices for items such as tents, tables, chairs, PA systems, microphones, podiums and other items that may be needed for a hosted event. All departments may use contract number UC4600002152 by following the instructions located at http://purchasing.tennessee.edu/4600002152.pdf. The university’s discount with Staples for office equipment has increased. The University of Tennessee system and Tennessee Board of Regents schools purchased a combined total of more than $11 million in supplies last year under contract number UC4600002116, which boosted the schools’ discount from 6.0 percent to 6.6 percent.
