It’s been big news over this past year. UT Knoxville has set its sights on becoming a Top 25 public research university in the next 10 years.
Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek calls it an ambitious goal. But he’s also quick to point out that it’s not about the bragging rights, the rankings or the numbers. It’s about the journey to become a better university –- for our students, for our community and for our state.
